I’ve been using WinDirStat to keep track of my disk usage, but it feels a bit outdated. Anyone know of a better, more modern tool for this?
Try WizTree. It’s insanely fast compared to WinDirStat and gives you a similar visual representation. It’s my go-to for finding big files.
SpaceSniffer is another good one. The interface is very intuitive with a block visualization of your files. Plus, it’s portable, so no installation needed.
If you’re on Linux or Mac, check out ncdu. It’s command-line based but super effective for quickly analyzing disk space usage.
I recommend TreeSize Free. It’s like WinDirStat but more polished. The paid version has even more features, but the free version does the job well enough.
For something with a slicker interface, give DaisyDisk a shot. It’s got a beautiful UI and makes it super easy to drag and drop files for deletion.
