I’ve always used white vinegar for cleaning around the house and in some of my recipes, but I recently ran out and can’t find any in the stores nearby. Has anyone found a good alternative that works just as well?
I once tried using lemon juice for a quick kitchen clean-up, but I’m not sure if it’s the best replacement for all purposes. Any suggestions?
If you’re out of white vinegar, you can use lemon juice or apple cider vinegar as alternatives for cleaning and recipes. For cleaning, lemon juice works well and has a fresh scent, while apple cider vinegar is a bit milder but still effective. Both can be used in many of the same ways as white vinegar.
Balsamic Vinegar: Has a sweeter, more robust flavour compared to white vinegar.
