I’ve been using Zasper as my IDE for data apps with Jupyter notebooks, and I really like its speed and concurrency support. However, I’m curious if there are better options out there. I’ve heard there are over 50 alternatives across various platforms like Mac, Windows, and Linux. What do you all think are the best alternatives? I’d love to hear your experiences.
Notepad++ is a solid choice. It’s free and open-source, plus it’s really user-friendly. I’ve found it great for quick edits.
Visual Studio Code is another fantastic option. It has a lot of extensions and is really customizable, which I love.
I’ve been using VSCodium lately, which is like VS Code but without the telemetry. It’s pretty nice.
Sublime Text is also a great alternative. It’s really fast and has a clean interface that I enjoy.
Vim is another option. It’s great for those who prefer keyboard shortcuts and want something lightweight.
