Hey everyone, I’ve been using Simple Tube, which is described as ‘Experience a Material 3 YouTube Music client with offline downloads, ad-free background playback, advanced syncing, local playback, and Android Auto compatibility.’ I really like it, but I’m curious about other options out there. I know there are more than 50 alternatives for various platforms including Android, Windows, Web-based, Android Tablet, and Mac apps. I heard that Spotify is a top alternative and it’s free. I also came across NewPipe, YouTube, Last.fm, and Deezer. If anyone has tried these or other music streaming services, I’d love to hear your thoughts. What do you recommend?
Spotify is definitely worth checking out. I use it all the time and the free version is pretty good, although it does have ads.
NewPipe is great if you want something that doesn’t track you. It’s super lightweight and has some cool features.
If you’re already on YouTube a lot, the official app is solid as well. The premium version lets you download music and play it in the background.
Last.fm is cool if you want to discover new music. It tracks what you listen to and recommends songs based on that.
Deezer is another good streaming option. It has a decent library and also offers offline listening.
