So I’ve been using f.lux, which adapts my computer’s display color based on the time of day. It’s great for making the screen warmer at night and like sunlight during the day. However, I’m curious if there are other similar tools or alternatives. I read there are over 50 options available for various platforms like Windows, Mac, Linux, and Android. I’ve heard that Redshift is a popular alternative, and it’s both free and open source. Other apps that seem interesting are LightBulb, SunsetScreen, RedshiftGUI, and Twilight. I’d love to filter through these options to find the best alternatives. Has anyone tried any of these?
Redshift is pretty solid. I’ve been using it and love how it adjusts colors. Have you given it a try?
LightBulb is another good one. It’s simple to use and gets the job done without too much fuss.
SunsetScreen has a nice interface. I found it really easy to adjust settings to my liking. Worth a look.
I use RedshiftGUI, and it’s pretty handy if you want something visually appealing. It’s similar to Redshift but with a nicer UI.
Twilight is great for Android users. It helps reduce blue light when using the phone at night. Have you looked into it?
