Hey fellow learners, quizlet has been my go-to for flashcards for ages, but lately I’ve been feeling the itch to try something new. Don’t get me wrong, Quizlet’s great, but maybe there’s something out there that’s a better fit for my study style. Anyone have experience with Quizlet alternatives? Is there an app with similar features to Quizlet, like spaced repetition and different study modes?
Have you tried Anki? I’ve been using it and find it really effective. It’s a free and open-source flashcard tool that uses spaced repetition for better retention. It supports images, audio, videos and scientific markup through LaTeX.
It has a good layout, spaced repetition, match and spell/write modes, rapid study (similar to Quizlet Learn), quiz (test mode), and quick study.
