I’m on the hunt for alternatives to Scriptable for task automation. I love that Scriptable lets you write scripts to integrate with iOS features like files, calendars, and reminders. I’ve heard there are over 10 alternatives out there, including IFTTT, which is free. Other names I came across are n8n.io, Tasker, Make.com, and Automa. Has anyone used these apps? What do you think about them? I’m looking for something that can really enhance my automation experience.
IFTTT is a great choice if you want something user-friendly. It connects a lot of different services together easily.
n8n.io is also worth checking out. It’s open-source and really powerful for building automation workflows.
Tasker is excellent for Android users, but it can be a bit overwhelming at first. Lots of options for automation.
Make.com is a solid platform too. It allows you to create complex workflows and integrates with many apps.
Automa is another good option if you’re looking for home automation features specifically. It’s pretty user-friendly.
