Looking for the best alternatives to WireShare... anyone have suggestions?

I’ve been using WireShare for a while, but I’m wondering if there are any better alternatives out there. I know it’s a fork of LimeWire, but I’m not sure what else is out there. I’ve heard of qBittorrent and a few others, but I want to know what’s working best for everyone. Does anyone have recommendations?

qBittorrent is definitely the best alternative imo. It’s free, open-source, and just works great. I’ve been using it for a while now and haven’t had any issues. Plus, it’s super lightweight.

Transmission is another solid alternative if you’re looking for something simple. It’s really minimal and easy to use, and it’s available for both Mac and Linux. I’ve been using it for my torrent needs and it works fine.

I’ve been using eMule for a while, and it’s not just for torrents. It connects to both the eDonkey network and Kad, so you can find files that aren’t on the usual torrent sites. It’s a little old school, but it gets the job done.

Anyone here use µTorrent? I know it’s pretty popular, but I’ve heard some people complain about ads and bloatware. I’m not sure if it’s still a good choice or if there are better options.

If you’re into music downloading too, FrostWire is another alternative to check out. It combines torrenting and music downloads in one app. Pretty cool for anyone who likes having both in one place.
