I just started using PairPods to share audio between two Bluetooth devices on my Mac, but I’m curious about other options out there. Are there any good alternatives that can do the same or even better? I’d love to hear your suggestions!
Audio Share is a great alternative. It’s free and open source, so you can’t go wrong with that. It works well for sharing audio too.
I’ve used Airfoil before, and it’s pretty solid. It allows you to send audio to multiple devices, and it’s user-friendly.
AudioRelay is another option. It streams audio from your PC to other devices, and it’s quite effective for sharing audio.
SoundWire can be useful too. It streams audio over Wi-Fi, so if you’re looking for something that doesn’t rely on Bluetooth, this might be it.
AirParrot is also worth considering. It has features for screen mirroring as well as audio sharing, so it’s pretty versatile.
Are there any limitations with Airfoil or AudioRelay? Like, do they work across different platforms?
Yeah, Airfoil works on Windows and Mac, while AudioRelay is mostly for Windows. Just check their compatibility if you’re using different devices.
