I’m on the hunt for free alternatives to Unraid. I’ve heard TrueNAS is a solid option, but I want to explore other choices too. Does anyone have recommendations?
TrueNAS is great! It’s open source and has a lot of features. But have you checked out Proxmox? It’s also a good pick.

btrfs is more of a filesystem than a NAS solution. It’s great for its snapshots and features, though!
