Looking for Alternatives to Federal Credit Union?

Hey everyone! I’ve been with my Federal Credit Union for a while now, but I’m looking for alternatives with better customer service or more features. Any recommendations for credit unions or other banking options with lower fees and good support?

Have you checked out Alliant Credit Union? They have really good savings rates and no monthly fees. Plus, their mobile app is pretty solid.

I’ve heard of Alliant! How’s their customer service?

Customer service has been great for me so far. Fast response times and they’re very helpful.

If you’re into online banking, Navy Federal Credit Union is pretty popular, especially if you have any military connections. They have good rates and awesome customer service.

I’ve heard good things about Navy Federal but wasn’t sure if I’d qualify. Worth checking out though.

It’s worth asking! They have broader eligibility criteria than people think.

PenFed Credit Union is a solid alternative. I switched to them last year, and I’m really happy with the lower fees and the services they offer.

Good to know! Do they offer a variety of loan options as well?

Yeah, they do. I got a car loan through them, and it was a smooth process. Their rates were super competitive.

I’d recommend Golden 1 Credit Union if you’re in California. Their customer service has been top-notch for me, and they’ve got a great selection of loans and checking account options.

I’m not in California, but that sounds like a great option for those who are!

Aspiration Bank is an online option if you’re looking for more eco-friendly banking. They offer cash-back rewards for sustainable spending, and their fees are super low.

I love the idea of supporting sustainability with my banking. I’ll have to check them out.
