During quarantine, my husband and I enjoy a homemade pizza every Friday night. Typically, I use a basic yeast dough, homemade tomato sauce, and a light sprinkle of cheese. Unfortunately, yeast is sold out in stores, and my first attempt at a yeast starter failed. (I forgot to feed it one night!)
Does anyone have any good yeast-free pizza dough options or ideas? I previously tried one with baking powder, but it upset my stomach. I’m open to all suggestions and thoughts. Thanks in advance.
I appreciate your suggestion. As a fun alternative, making pizza on tortillas or English muffins seems good. I’ll give these a go, but I agree that a pizza without yeast would not be as delightful.
