How on earth do you even get seven out of this?
Wait, I think they calculated 6 divided by 2 and then only added that 3 to the +2, leaving out the other one.
6÷2(1+2) => 6÷(21)+(22) => 6÷2+4 => 3+4 => 7
That doesn’t mean it’s correct…
Isn’t it the case that when there’s no sign between a number and a bracket, it’s always multiplication? So it becomes:
6 ÷ 2(1+2)
6 ÷ 2 * 3
3 * 3 = 9
It’s intentionally designed to be ambiguous to spark debates about which perspective is correct.
