Hey, so I have been looking for ways to connect my PC to an Ethernet instead of a wireless one because I get high ping when playing games. After all, other people in the house are always streaming TV shows and movies. My goal is to connect my PC to the internet without going through walls. I have seen people use existing coax ports, but I am not sure if my Spectrum DOCSIS 3.1 modem allows me to use other coax ports. In addition, my reluctance from household members and the lack of an outlet with a surge protector prevents me from using powerline ethernet. Any details or suggestions?
