I’d love to stay in a 5-star hotel, but it’s pricey. I definitely don’t want to end up in a dump with poor quality either, as that could ruin the trip. I’m hoping to find a balance where my basic needs are met, and I can enjoy the destination without breaking the bank.
Personally I check on location, safety and cleanliness when I’m paying. And the place should not be noisy

If you will not be spending most of your time inside the hotel then I would suggest you just book a cheap place and spend most of your money on other scenaries in the area
