Hey everyone, I run an NSFW sub and just found out that Imgur is banning all NSFW content starting May 15, 2023. I’ve been testing a bunch of image hosting sites that still allow NSFW uploads and put together a list. Anyone have more suggestions or thoughts on these?
Thanks for this! I’ve been looking for alternatives too. Postimages works well for me but doesn’t always embed properly. Thoughts?
I tried Postimages too! It’s solid for NSFW, but embedding can be a pain sometimes. Still better than no alternative though.
Pixhost is alright, but you have to grab the download link manually. If anyone’s confused about that, I can explain how to do it.

Sure! Basically, when you upload, you’ll see a bunch of different links. Just copy the one marked ‘direct link’ and it should work for embedding. Let me know if that helps!
I’ve used Lensdump for a while. The UI is clean and no annoying pop-ups, but it doesn’t allow anonymous uploads. Works fine for me, though!

If you’re looking for .mp4 uploads, redgifs is your best bet, but the ads are super intrusive, and it doesn’t play well with Reddit.
Yeah, redgifs feels like a hassle with all the ads and linking issues. I think it’s best for videos, but definitely not for images.
Just tried Freeimage.host and found it kind of glitchy with galleries. Has anyone else had issues with it?
Same here! Sometimes the gallery shows fewer images than I uploaded, or duplicates. Not sure what’s up with that.
Glad it’s not just me. Makes it hard to rely on for large galleries.
