Hey guys, I’ve been using Joplin for my notes and to-do lists, and I really like its open-source features. But I’m curious about other options out there. I’ve heard that Obsidian is a great alternative, but it’s not free. If I want something free, I read about Standard Notes and Logseq. What do you all think? Are there any other good apps you’d recommend for note-taking and task management?
Obsidian is fantastic for linking notes and organizing your thoughts. It’s like a personal wiki!
Standard Notes is awesome if you want simplicity and strong encryption. Plus, it’s free!
Logseq is great for anyone who enjoys a more structured approach to note-taking. It’s built around bi-directional linking.
Microsoft OneNote is worth considering too. It’s integrated with Office and has a lot of features.
Zettlr is another cool option, especially for academic use. It’s open source and supports Markdown.
