What are some good alternatives to Ghost... any recommendations?

I’ve been using Ghost for my blogging, and it’s been pretty good overall. But I’m curious about what other platforms are out there. Anyone have suggestions for alternatives that might work better for me? I know there are a ton of options, so I’d love to hear your thoughts.

WordPress is a classic alternative. It’s free and open source, and it has a huge community with lots of plugins.

Drupal is another great option. It’s really powerful for more complex sites, but it has a bit of a learning curve.

How does it compare to Ghost in terms of ease of use? I’ve heard it can be a bit tricky.

Yeah, it can be a bit overwhelming at first, but once you understand it, you can do a lot with it.

Hugo is a cool alternative too. It’s a static site generator, which means your site loads super fast.

Is it easy to set up? I’ve never used a static site generator before.

It has a bit of a learning curve, but there are plenty of tutorials that can help you get started.

Write.as is a nice option for minimalist blogging. It’s simple to use and focuses solely on writing.

That sounds interesting. Does it have any features for customization or is it really just about the writing?

It’s pretty basic in terms of customization, but that’s what makes it easy to use. Sometimes less is more.

Medium is also worth mentioning. It’s great for reaching an audience, but you don’t have full control over your content.

I’ve heard of Medium. Is it good for personal blogging, or more for articles?

It’s good for both, really. But if you want full control over your blog’s design and features, it might not be the best fit.
